I got back into embroidery in 2017, and using such a time-tested craft to make sassy, sarcastic and off-the-wall pieces really appeals to me. These 3” mini hoops were created for the 5th Annual Tiny Show at Texas Art Asylum, which is an amazing resale shop/art nerd’s DREAM and gallery in Houston.
Embroidery for me is very calming, it’s almost like meditation. I love creating my own patterns; deciding the thread colors, stitches and how the elements will interact with each other.
